How much does a translation cost?

The price depends on the length of your book, the file format, the language, and the structure of your file. Author Mode often costs from 50€ to 300€, Pro Mode from 15€ to 50€, and Standard Mode from 5€ to 20€.

Do you offer refunds?

If there's an issue with your file, or if for some reason you're not satisfied with your translation, reach out to us and we'll see how we can improve the result together. We can't guarantee refunds for reasons other than technical difficulties.

Which file formats do you support?

We support many formats including EPUB, DOCX, HTML, IDML, and TXT. The full list includes AZW3, DOC, DOCX, EPUB, FB2, FDX, HTM, HTML, HTMLZ, IDML, MOBI, ODT, PAGES, PDF, PPT, PPTX, PRC, RTF, and TXT.

Because PDFs are a rigid format, we need to extract the text from your file, translate it, and then rebuild it. This process changes the layout. We recommend using the original file that was used to create the PDF instead.

Can you translate images?

We support InDesign .idml files perfectly, with the layout preserved. If your picture is a scanned PDF, we can extract the text to translate it, but the layout will change.

Privacy: what will happen to my file and email address?

Your data is only used to provide you with this service or reach out to you regarding your translation. Uploaded files are automatically deleted after 30 days.

Authors are reporting massive time savings using our service, many publishing their translations almost immediately. For publication, we recommend doing a proofreading of the translation to spot any stray mistakes or confusion. We provide a proofreading tool with some automated feedback to help. Depending on the degree of control you want over the output, this can go from a light spot-checking to a deeper style review. Author mode will give you the best result in terms of fluency and consistency across the book. If you want maximum control over the style, you can add custom instructions and/or give a reference material to get inspiration from, and the AI will follow it.

No AI trains on your content. We make money by selling you good translations, not by selling your data. Files are deleted automatically after 30 days.

We have built a custom pipeline that will automatically split your book, translate and analyze it, do quality and fluency control, retry and reflect to get you the best possible result. We currently use a blend of Google Gemini Pro 2.5, OpenAI GPT-5, and DeepSeek V3.

The translation time depends on your document length. In the first two translation modes, most books are translated in less than 10 minutes, sometimes up to 20 minutes. Author Mode analyzes your book before translating it step by step, which can take from 3 to 12 hours.

Unless your file is a PDF, the answer is yes! You'll get a translated file in the same format as the one you uploaded, and all formatting will be preserved. This includes images, tables, links, and other typographic elements. PDFs need to have their text extracted, so the final layout will change.
