Podly's approach to displaying the BSR differs from the real-time updates on Amazon. On Amazon, the BSR can change as frequently as every 10 minutes, which makes real-time tracking quite difficult and often not particularly informative due to the fluctuations. Instead, Podly gathers BSR data once per day for products with a BSR over 500,000 and every 6 hours for those with a BSR under 500,000. Our aim is to provide the best indication of which products are selling the best relative to the rest of the catalog. By collecting data at regular intervals, we can build a historical overview of a product's performance and identify emerging trends over time.
