What is XLM

XLM, also known as Stellar Lumens, is a cryptocurrency and blockchain network designed to facilitate cross-border payments and asset transfers. Developed by the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF), it aims to provide a more efficient solution for the global financial system.

The Stellar network's core philosophy is to address the financial service challenges in impoverished regions, offering low-cost transaction services to unbanked populations. With its fast transaction times and minimal fees, XLM shows great potential in cross-border remittances, micropayments, and other financial services.

Looking ahead, XLM is expected to see trends such as partnerships with traditional financial institutions, a growing user base, and applications in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space.
